SOFT NEST 01
A structure shaped by the way they rest.
Soft Nest began with repeated observations of how sighthounds settle into rest.
Leaning, covering, curling, stretching, and returning to familiar forms. Rather than designing a fixed answer, we began by studying these repeated choices.

OBSERVATION → STRUCTURE
Shaped by repeated choices.
01 / COVER
Seeking enclosure beneath blankets and soft layers.
02 / SUPPORT
Leaning the body, neck, or back against surrounding forms.
03 / SPACE
Choosing a protected resting area without losing freedom to reposition.
DEVELOPMENT STUDY
The structure is still being observed.
Each prototype changes what we notice. Height, softness, support, entry, and proportion are tested through use. What remains is not a final answer, but a structure that continues to respond to observation.

SOFT NEST 01
Designed through observation. Refined through use.
JOURNAL
Notes from observation.
A continuing record of what we notice, question, and learn. Observations from everyday life become questions, studies, and sometimes structures.

OBSERVATION
Why do they choose the covered space?
A small observation about enclosure, warmth, and the places they return to.

FIELD NOTE
Where does rest begin?
Looking at shade, surface, distance, and the small choices made before settling down.

OBSERVATION NOTE
What does comfort look like?
Sometimes it appears in the posture — a body stretched, folded, or completely let go.
